WHAT IS DRY NEEDLING?

Dry needling breaks down the scar tissue such as stretchmarks and surgical scars with multiple treatments stretched eight weeks apart from each other. Each session will diminish the scar tissue and create new collagen, which softens the site area. As we create micro injuries inside the scar, it will help the scar relax and regenerate the skin into a smoother texture. The SROSS method isolates the scar tissue and individually treats that tissue without traumatizing any healthy tissue. We get quicker results and shorter treatment times since we use different needles in different parts of the scar, which result in an evenly healed skin texture. It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout.

CONSULTATION

During your consultation, we will review the scar site to analyze the scar type and surrounding tissue. We will discuss the history of the scar, personal health history for pre-qualifications, and expectations for the scar revision. Most scars will never reach 100% blendability because the surface of the skin is forever changed, however most scars that fall within the hypertrophic (scars within the border) range can blend up 85%. If it is determined that your scar is a keloid, then it will be out of scope, and you will have to defer to a surgeon for medical evaluation or rescission.
